Unique hand felted hanging made from my own organic Dartmoor wool. The flock is grazed on moorland and the best wool selected for felting work. Using a variety of felting techniques the picture is built up using the natural coulours, tones and textures of the wool.he image,
 
 The piece is finished using Elder wood found/grown on the farm. In mythology Elder wood is thought to be magical and have protective qualities. 
 
Whilst shepherding on horseback with my dogs, we often see Herons fishing in the river and streams. Usually they hide in the rushes but if we get too close they rise and fly away.
