Work in Progress

Inspired by the elegant hat mould that I was given recently, I have started work on two new hat designs. To begin with I roughly felt mixing the different colours. I then shape the felt over the crown of the mould taking care with the shape at the back as this ensures a snug fit. I then design and shape and size of the brim. The hat with the smaller brim has a felt rose added at the side.

They feel very snug and warm and give just a touch of glamour. Just in time for cold weather coming our way.
